This service is SO simple to use! Just make one phonecall, and then receive immediate and constant (not pestering--just thorough and reassuring) communication, including text updates and a call from the individual provider (in this case, Jason Martinez) letting me know he was coming, his ETA, and then another call when he was 10 minutes away. Jason immediately got to work starting my battery and let it run long enough to then test its strength to determine if I might need a new battery. I'm the kind of person who always asks a lot of questions, so while my battery was charging up, Jason gave me a tutorial on how a car engine works--very informative! Fortunately there's a Mercedes service center across the street from my home and they would definitely have the right battery for my car, a Mercedes AMG, so Jason suggested that I take my car there to get the battery tested to make sure it's SAFE and won't die again, which I immediately did. (It's there now.) They're also going to check (and probably replace) the hood support struts because Jason discovered they don't work, which is another SAFETY concern. (He had to prop the hood open with a support rod.) This service beats the heck out of AAA, which I used to have and typically had to wait 1-1/2 to 2 hours for their arrival (with zero communication during the wait, although perhaps this has changed. I don't know because I dropped AAA figuring why pay for something that bad.) This entire event from initial phonecall to driving to the Mercedes across the street took a total of about ONE HOUR! Amazing! Thank you, Road Res-Q, and thank you Jason!
